Pediatric Nursing

Pediatric nursing is the medical care of children up to adolescence, usually in a hospital or day-clinic. Pediatric nurses provide preventative and critical care in all settings to children. They assess, plan and provide nursing care and fulfill the needs for children who are suffering from a wide variety of conditions including diseases, illnesses and who are under recovery from surgery, taking into account their medical, social, cultural and family circumstances.
